We believe that marketing is a significantly underleveraged function in most organizations, and that instituting Marketing Performance -- the practice of measuring, learning from, and improving upon marketing strategies and tactics over time -- can transform marketing from a perceived cost-center to a source of competitive advantage.

Based on this belief, we set out to gain a complete understanding of the state of marketing performance today in order to better understand the barriers to success and help clients improve their marketing performance and drive business success

We conducted online interviews with over 400 CFO, CEO and marketing employees of companies with 100+ employees interested in measuring the performance of their marketing initiatives. 

Through our research findings we were able to define the state of marketing performance measurement today, identify best practices that companies are utilizing as well as barriers to success, and provide recommendations for improving marketing performance practices in your organization.
